The reasons for the breakdown of his relationship with Lauryn Hill are being discussed by Rohan Marley. The relationship between Bob Marley’s son and Hill, who have five children together, started to seem awkward last year. Following the revelation that Hill was expecting a child by another man, the pair broke up.
He gave an explanation for the reasons why things didn’t work out in an interview with the UK magazine The Voice. There are some things, he continued, “that I don’t tolerate as a man.” And it just so happened that I wasn’t willing to tolerate some aspects of the relationship. It didn’t work out, but that doesn’t imply she or I are awful people.
Given that Marley is engaged to Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana and Hill may or may not be seeing the father of her youngest child, it appears that the two parties have gone their own ways. “[Our relationship] is good in the sense that…good it’s in terms of being a mother and father to our kids. It’s not quite as flawless as we might hope. It’s just how the path traveled.
Hill issued a statement in response to the speculations surrounding the breakup of the partnership, dismissing claims of infidelity and desertion.
