Laurence Paul Fox was raised by a distinguished performing clan. His uncle Edward Fox is an accomplished actor, and his father is James Fox. He attended Harrow School before going on to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to study acting.

He made appearances in several British television shows, with DI James Hathaway in the illustrious ITV series “Lewis” (2006-2015) serving as one of his most notable parts. He received a lot of attention and recognition for this role.

Fox has also made appearances in several movies, such as the Robert Altman-directed “Gosford Park” (2001) and “The Hole” (2001). His work in television and stage was more well-known than his work in films, though.
