The death of her baby girl Lorena – her second child with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury, 25 – shortly after childbirth has been devastating for the former Towie star.
Lauren, 35, was reportedly attacked at Lorena’s funeral, resulting in a fractured eye socket that required hospital treatment.
The reality star, who also has a one-year-old daughter named Larose, was spotted out and about near her Essex home on Saturday, marking the first time she’s been seen in public since the attack.
Lauren walked to her car in a casual black dress and sandals, her black eye hidden beneath a pair of large sunglasses.
The TV star had previously returned to social media, showing off her new hairstyle and sharing a message about self-love. Lauren purposefully placed her long locks over her face and turned to the side in a selfie to reveal the results of her new balayage hairdo.
In her Instagram stories, she said, ‘Today was the first day out for some self-love.’ One step at a time, returning to normal life. Small steps toward self-love.’
