Vanesu Danai Palesa Shoniwa-Samunyai also known by her Korean name, Kyo Ra is an actress who is currently based in South Korea. She was born in April 2001 in Warwickshire, England.
Kyo developed a passion for acting early in her childhood. After a number of auditions, she landed her first acting role in the Netflix series The Sandman. The series which began airing in August of 2022 is based on the comic book by Neil Gaiman.
Kyo plays the character of a young woman named Rose Walker. Rose is portrayed to have embarked on a desperate search for her missing brother and reconnected to a family she didn’t know that she had in the process.
The 21-year-old has thus far taken full advantage of the opportunity with her brilliant performances, and will likely be amongst the cast next season.
