Evangelist Diana Asamoah, a controversial gospel singer, has finally shared the reason behind Kwaku Manu’s confrontation with Edward Akwasi Boateng, the comedy actor.
Diana Asamoah considers the chance the actor from Kumawood and presenter of the “Aggressive” interview received to be a dream come true.
Diana Asamoah stated that Kwaku Manu had been contacting her for an interview during a Kingdom FM interview that ghpage.com was able to watch.
She mentioned that she had been contacted three times for an interview by the actor Edward Akwasi Boatengf prior to her conflict with her colleague, but she had declined to appear.
Even though Kwaku Manu has a large following, Diana Asamoah claims that she declined to appear on his show because he wanted to interview her for his own personal benefit.
Diana Asamoah asserts that she has seen most journalists and talk show hosts act in their own self-interest when conducting interviews, choosing instead to obtain viewpoints over damaging their guests’ reputations.
“I am going to read the Bible throughout that time. I’ve never read it before. I ask God to open their eyes when I witness or hear someone disrespecting me. My sympathy is with Kwaku Manu. When he came to speak, I told him the same thing I had told Abeiku—that some people are simply plain stupid.
I did not show up for the three interviews that Kwaku Manu phoned me for. This time, I’m not going if the interview isn’t about Abba’s father. I now know that some people conduct interviews only for the purpose of obtaining content. While you are speaking positively, the host will be guiding you to the left so that you might say something unfavorable and draw attention to one of her pages. Thus, Diana Asamoah stated, “They will use their content to damage your hard-earned reputation.”
