Twitter erupted yesterday July 17 after news emerged that Ghanaian footballer Kwadwo Asamoah who plays for the Italian team Inter Milan was involved in a messy scandal with a Germany-based Instagram model known as Ohemaa Glory.
The event unfolded after the model posted screenshots of an alleged chat with the Black Stars player on her Instagram page.
In the conversation, the husband and father-of-two Kwadwo Asamoah had asked the lady if he could get her number so they texted privately since people were worrying her on her social media pages.
The lady refused citing she does not give her number out to ‘strangers’.
Kwadwo Asamoah is then alleged to have blocked the lady who in turn got livid and posted screenshots of the chat on the micro-blogging page Twitter.
The since-deleted post raised a huge backlash from Twitter users, most who could not understand the need to try and rub the player’s name in the mud when he only asked for a phone number.
