Okomfo Kolegae, an actor in Kumawood who goes by Collins Oteng in private, buried his deceased wife Millicent Oteng. On Sunday, November 20, 2022, news spread that Kolege’s pregnant wife had passed away while giving birth to their child at the hospital.
The rumors further stated Kolegae lost not only his wife but also the child, which was later proven.
The final funeral rites for Kolegae are being performed at Atwima Tabere, not far from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region, over a month after her tragic death.

Images from the funeral reveal a somber environment with the grieving spouse sobbing in the pictures that have surfaced. Okomfo Kolegae appeared in pictures posted to his Facebook page wearing a mourning robe and seated among other mourners.
He was sobbing and looking to God for answers as he glanced up at the sky, tears running down his cheeks. The actor said he was traumatized by the loss of his wife and unborn child when he shared the images. He also questioned why God had allowed him to experience such adversity.
