With the assist on the game-winning goal, the 23-year-old forward was instrumental in the comeback victory. After missing a penalty in the first half, Beto of Everton made amends by giving his team the lead early in the second half.
However, Kurt Zouma quickly leveled the score for West Ham by meeting a cross from James Ward-Prowse.

When Kudus sent a precise cross into the box in the 91st minute, Tomas Soucek expertly controlled it and fired past Jordan Pickford to give West Ham the lead. At that point, the score was tied at one. Kudus’ diligence and inventiveness during the game were duly rewarded with it.

A third goal in the last moments of the game sealed the win for West Ham, provided by another summer signing from Ajax, Edson Alvarez.

With this latest victory, West Ham has made significant progress in the Premier League, having last won in December. Kudus played a pivotal role in both victories with two assists.

Kudus has been outstanding since leaving Ajax, making 21 league appearances while dishing out three assists and six goals. With 10 goals and three assists in all competitions, he has made a name for himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising young players.
