Asante Kotoko, one of Ghana’s most prestigious football clubs, has announced the departure of goalkeeper Moise Pouaty. This announcement marks Pouaty as the 11th player to be offloaded by the Kumasi-based club on Tuesday, June 18.

In addition to Pouaty, the other players who will be leaving Asante Kotoko at the end of the 2023/24 football season include Kalo Ouattara, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Isaac Oppong, Augustine Agyapong, Nicholas Mensah, John Tedeku, Sherif Mohammed, George Mfegue, Serge Eric Zeze, and Danlad Ibrahim.

In a statement released by Asante Kotoko confirming the release of these players, the club expressed gratitude for their services and wished them the very best for their future endeavors.

This decision to part ways with 11 players comes after Asante Kotoko’s disappointing 6th-place finish in the Ghana Premier League, failing to clinch the league title for the 2023/24 campaign. As the club looks ahead to the future, these departures signal a new chapter for Asante Kotoko as they prepare for the upcoming season.
