The former Desert Island Discs host opened up about her condition for the first time in public, saying she felt like she had been hit “with a baseball bat” and was in agonizing pain.
Young admitted to The Sunday Times Magazine that she had encountered “plenty of blind alleys” in her quest for recovery due to “the wrong doctors and the wrong medication.”
