King Von was an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He was born on August 9, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois, and was named Dayvon Daquan Bennett.
His father was Walter E. Bennett and his mother is Taesha. King Von who has nine siblings from both parents, was raised mostly by his mother, as his father was in and out of his life due to incarcerations. When he was 11,his father was killed by gunfire, and Von pay tribute to him in multiple songs, notably in the song “Exposing Me”
King Von gained notoriety thanks to the songs Crazy Story and Took Her to the O, a song that reached the forty-fourth position of the Billboard Hot 100, and for the studio album Welcome to O’Block, which also placed fifth on the Billboard 200

King Von died on November 6, 2020, at the age of 26. According to reports, he and his crew were involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew which quickly escalated into gunfire, and King Von was shot multiple times. Timothy Leeks a rapper known as Lul Timm was charged for the murder of King Von.
