The younger brother of Ryan O’Neal passed away at the age of 77 from natural causes.
According to Ryan’s 55-year-old sportscaster son Patrick, Kevin O’Neal went away on Saturday at his home in Thousand Oaks, California, while he was sleeping.
Like his 81-year-old older brother Ryan, who appeared in the hugely successful movies Paper Moon and Love Story, Kevin was an actor in Hollywood.
In the 1958 film No Time For Sergeants, he played the most notable part.

Patrick, his nephew, posted a notice of his passing on social media and it reads
“Kevin O’Neal, my dad’s brother, passed away on Saturday morning (1/28/23). We are grateful that my uncle passed away peacefully and without pain,” he stated in an Instagram caption that accompanied some old pictures of Kevin and Ryan.
Like his older brother, Kevin had a wicked sense of humour, and we have his stories to keep him in our hearts always.
“When Kevin entered a room, you could hear him entering before you saw him. O’Neal has long been known for his charisma and energy. He had better be prepared for heaven!”
