Kevin Durant is a well-known professional basketball player who had a successful NBA career.
Following his selection by the team in the 2007 NBA Draft, Kevin Durant spent eight seasons playing for the Seattle SuperSonics (now known as the Oklahoma City Thunder).
During that time, he rose to prominence in the league, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year award in 2008 and the NBA MVP award in 2014. He joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016, and in 2017 and 2018 he won two NBA championships there.
Due to injuries, Kevin Durant was unable to play for the Brooklyn Nets during his first season there; as a result, he only spent two seasons with the team before leaving in 2021. He is currently a Brooklyn Nets player.
