Kendall Gretsch (born April 2, 1992) is a triathlon, biathlete, and cross-country skier from the United States. She was born with a condition known as spina bifida.
She has competed in both the Summer and Winter Paralympics, and she holds the distinction of having won gold medals in both the Summer and Winter Paralympics.
She was the first American woman, and the only American ever, to win a medal in a biathlon event in the Olympic or Paralympic Games.
Hers was the first gold medal for the United States at the 2018 Winter Paralympics, which took place on the first day of the multi-sport tournament.
Kendall also won a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Paralympics after winning the women’s 12km sitting race, which is part of the cross-country skiing competition.
Kendall’s gold medal was her first in cross-country skiing and her second Paralympic medal overall.
