Kenneth Paul Block was an American professional rally driver of the Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team, who was born on November 21, 1967, and died on January 2, 2023. Block was also a founding member of DC Shoes.

He also competed in a variety of action sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Block altered his business emphasis after selling his ownership of DC Shoes to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel manufacturer for auto fans. Before his death, he was the company’s co-owner and “Head Hoonigan In Charge” (HHIC).

Ken Block’s wife and children

He and his wife, Lucy Block, had three daughters, but their identities have not been revealed.

Ken Block’s parents and siblings

Ken Block’s parents have not been revealed as of this writing. Ken appears to have kept his personal life a closely guarded secret. His siblings are a complete mystery as well.

Block was given a brand-new rally-ready 2008 Subaru WRX STi to compete in 2008. Block planned to compete in the Canadian Rally Championship’s Rallye Baie-des Chaleurs to gather experience with his new 2008 rally car and prepare for the World Rally Championships later in the year.

At the event, Block won his first Canadian rally championship. This was the new car’s second appearance. Due to the lack of a Canadian competition license, Block and his co-driver were unable to earn any championship points at the event. Block finished first place in the Rally New York USA competition.

Both bronze-place competitors with damaged cars were unable to compete, so medals were handed to both. Block tied for third place in the X Games XIV rally competition with Dave Mirra.

This happened because both competitors had automobile problems. Block, who advanced to the event’s semi-finals, suffered a radiator problem after landing the car awkwardly on a jump.
