South African professional golfer Keith Weller Horne was born on June 9th, 1971.
Horne, a Durban native, had a prosperous amateur career. At the World Games in Spain in 1993, Horne took home a silver medal. In 1996, he began his career. He attended the Westville Boys’ High School.

When Horne first turned pro in 1996, he instantly signed up for the Sunshine Tour, the most lucrative professional golf circuit in South Africa. At the Vodacom Series: Kwazulu Natal in 1998, he achieved his first professional victory.
Before winning a couple of unofficial Pro-Ams in 2003, he had a few off-seasons after that. 2007’s MTC Namibia PGA Championship marked his second career victory.
A year later, at the Nashua Golf Challenge, he triumphed once more. A member of the Asian Tour, Horne has yet to claim a victory there.
