Keaontay Ingram is a professional football player who is currently on the roster of the Arizona Cardinals who selected him in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 201st pick.
Ingram was born and raised in Carthage, Texas. He was a student at Carthage High School. During his time there, he was on the football and basketball teams. He also ran track for the school at various tournaments.
He was vital to Carthage’s unbeaten overall record and district record and helped them secure a district championship. He was invited to the Under Armour All-America Game in 2018.
He is one of three high school football players to have more than 5,000 career yards, and one of just two to have consecutive seasons with 2,000 yards.
He went on to play college football at the University of Texas for three seasons before moving to the University of South California for his last college football campaign.
