Ke Huy Quan, sometimes known as Jonathan Ke Quan, is an American actor and stunt performer of Vietnamese descent. In 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies, Quan portrayed Short Round and Data, respectively (1985).
Quan went to Mount Gleason Junior High School in Tujunga and Alhambra High School in Alhambra, California. Quan graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 1999. After receiving his degree, he worked closely with Hong Kong combat choreographer Corey Yuen on numerous films.
Quan, who was then 12 years old, as Harrison Ford’s sidekick Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. One of the kids the casting director spoke with at Castelar Elementary School was his younger brother.

Quan speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and English with ease. He is Vietnamese-American and descended from Han Chinese, more precisely from the Chinese Hoa minority in Vietnam.
Quan lives in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, and is married. His Goonies co-star Jeff Cohen, who also serves as Quan’s entertainment attorney, is a close buddy.
