Katherine Moore Porter, a politician, law professor, and attorney from the United States was born on January 3, 1974. She formerly served as the representative for California’s 47th congressional district from 2019 to 2023.
Porter served as an associate professor of law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Law. She joined the University of Iowa College of Law faculty in 2005 as an associate professor, and in 2011 she was elevated to full professor.
