Ballet ballerina Paulette Harwood, the mother of Paula, established and ran Paulette’s Dance Studio for 58 years.
Among many other well-known locations, she has performed professionally at Billy Rose’s Diamond Horseshoe and Radio City Hall. Paulette passed away quietly on August 23, 2019, and her funeral was held on August 29.

James Gallagher, Paula’s mother’s son, started recording her dance lessons before Paula’s mother passed away because he knew the time would soon come.
Before it was all over, he wanted to get a picture of his grandmother in her element. Yet, a few days of taping turned into a lengthy project that Paula advertised on her now-private Instagram.
James characterizes the end creation, “Paulette,” as a touching and energizing watch. As a budding filmmaker, Paula’s son has learned a lot from filming his grandmother, it must be admitted. Also, he was the director of the short film “Love,” which starred Susan Sarandon as Eva Amurri’s mother.
