Many only know the American Politician, Ronald Dion DeSantis as the man who is currently holding the office of governorship in the state of Florida, his previous service in the US House of Representatives and his affiliation with Yale and Harvard University.
However, very little about the woman who raised him in Jacksonville – Karen DeSantis, his biological mother.
Who is Ron DeSantis mother Karen Rogers?
Karen’s surname changed from Rogers to DeSantis after marrying Ronald Daniel DeSantis. She had two children with her husband, Dion DeSantis in September 1978 and a daughter, Christiana Marie DeSantis in 1985.
She worked as nurse while her husband installed Nielsen TV rating boxes to earn a living.
By the time Karen’s son was six years old, she moved with her family to Orlando, Florida then later relocated to Dundine which is also in Florida.
Sadly, Karen lost her youngest child and only daughter on May 12th, 2015 in London.
