Karela coach Abukari Damba hails players’ great character after narrow win over Nations FC

Abukari Damba, the coach of Karela United, has commended his players for their impressive display in the Ghana Premier League match against Nations FC.

The team managed to secure a narrow victory over Nations FC at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex, with Giyasu Ibrahim scoring the decisive goal.

After the game, Abukari Damba praised his players for their character and determination on the field. He acknowledged the challenge posed by Nations FC, a strong team with quality players and momentum in the league. Despite the tough competition, Karela United managed to secure the three points, moving up to twelfth place in the league standings with 27 points and five games left in the season.

“I will congratulate my players for the effort. They showed great character amidst playing against a very difficult team to break down,” Damba said in a post-match interview. “Nations are doing so well in the league. They have so much quality and play with momentum. They gave us a real tough time but my players stood up to the test.”
