Karan Ashley born Karan Ashley Jackson is an American singer, actress, and talk show host who came to the limelight after starring in the Fox Kids series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Power Ranger.
Karan was born on September 28, 1975, in Odessa, Texas in the United States of America. She attended Lida Hooe Elementary and continued at David W. Carter High School in Dallas where she graduated. Karan first started her career as a singer at a very young age in the early nineties by joining the group KRUSH.
After 5 years, she took a career in acting and did national commercials for some companies. Eventually, she went for an audition which landed her a breakthrough in her acting career when she was given the role of Aisha Campbell in the popular tv series Power Rangers which she did 80 episodes in all.
