According to rumors, a production company is suing Kayne West for $7 million (£6 million) for breaching their contract after he didn’t pay them.
The 45-year-old musician is being sued by Phantom Labs, with whom he collaborated on numerous occasions between June 2021 and March 2022.
The artist’s live performances for the Donda 2 livestream release, a Free Larry Hoover event with Drake, and his postponed Coachella 2022 performance are all said to have been worked on together.
And according to sources, it is claimed that the rapper and his crew owe the production business almost $7 million in unpaid invoices.
According to legal documents acquired by TMZ, Kayne planned to pay the fees out of the $9 million (£7.6 million) he would receive for headlining the renowned music festival, which also featured performers like Harry Styles and Billie Eilish.
But two weeks before he was scheduled to take the stage at Coachella, Kayne was replaced by The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia. As a result, the performance was cancelled.
