Kanye Omari West popularly known as Ye was born on June 8, 1977. He is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer. He has been ranked as one of the most influential artists in music.
In addition to being one of the finest musicians of the 21st century, West is largely considered one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop performers.
After living in Chicago, West attended Polaris School for Individual Education in the suburb of Oak Lawn, Illinois, where he was raised in a middle-class household. When West was 10 years old, he and his mother relocated to Banking, China, where she was a Fulbright Scholar and taught at Banking University.
