Kaley Cuoco children: Meet Pelphrey

Kaley Christine Cuoco was born in Camarillo, California, to realtor Gary Carmine Cuoco and Layne Ann (Wingate) Cuoco. She is of German, English, and Italian descent (her father). Cuoco started out as a commercial actress and a model when she was 6 years old. Her first big role was in the TV movie Quicksand: No Escape (1992), starring Tim Matheson and Donald Sutherland. Her other appearances on television include guest roles in the series Ellen (1994), in which she portrayed Ellen DeGeneres’ character as “little Ellen,” Northern Exposure (1990), Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush (1995), and My So-Called Life. She also had a prominent role in the 1998 miniseries Mr. Murder.

Cuoco has made appearances in the motion pictures Virtuosity, Picture Perfect, and Lucky 13 (2005). She has appeared on stage in “Annie” and “Fiddler on the Roof” productions that have been staged in the Los Angeles area. Cuoco enjoys playing tennis, and as a member of a regional amateur division team, she consistently performs well in the Southern California Tennis Association standings. She also enjoys hip-hop dancing, going to the mall, and hanging out with friends. Cuoco went to school at home and now lives with her family in Ventura County, California. She had previously been married to Karl Cook and Ryan Sweeting.
