American actress Justine Lupe-Schomp is well-known for her parts in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Succession, Cristela, and Mr. Mercedes. She was born May 31, 1989, in Denver, Colorado, where she grew up.
She graduated from the theatrical department at the Denver School of Arts in 2007 and the Juilliard School in New York City in 2011. At the Denver School of the Arts, a theater is named in honor of Kay Schomp’s grandmother. At the Denver Art Museum, her father John Lupe works as an exhibition specialist.
Lupe starred in the ABC sitcom Cristela. Lupe’s run on Cristela began with the second episode, as she replaced another actress who played Maddie in the pilot. After featuring on the HBO series Succession in its first two seasons, Lupe was made a series regular for its third season.
