Justin has a brother named Christopher Michael Lower. Chris was killed in an automobile accident that his father caused.

Lower went on to win an NAIA national title while playing collegiate golf at Malone University, a private Christian institution in Canton, Ohio.

He became a pro in 2011 and made his way onto the Korn Ferry Tour three years later, where he spent six of the following seven years. He nearly made the PGA Tour in 2018, but, like Wyndham, he missed an 8-foot putt on the closing hole of the Web.com Tour Championship and remained on the tour for two more seasons.

Lower only has two top-10 finishes in 24 starts after gaining his first Tour card during the KFT’s super-season in 2020-21.
