June Blair, who played David Nelson’s real-life wife on the reality-defying ABC family sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, has passed away. 90 years old. In the noir movie Hell Bound (1957), starring John Russell, the redheaded Blair played a woman involved in a complicated drug robbery shortly after assuming the role of Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in January 1957.
Then, in 1959, she appeared in two films with Ernest Borgnine as a vulnerable secretary at a construction company in The Rabbit Trap and as one of three daughters of a nuclear scientist in Island of Lost Women with Venetia Stevenson and Diane Jergens as the other two.

According to her daughter-in-law Susan Nelson and The Hollywood Reporter, Blair passed away on Monday at her Sherman Oaks home from natural causes.

On October 30, 1932, Margaret June Blair was born in San Francisco. She was given up for adoption by her mother at age 3 and her father at age 8; as a result, she was raised by at least eight different households while a ward of the state of California.
