As Jules Kounde gets closer to moving to Barcelona, Chelsea is getting tired of the transfer saga and will start looking at other options, according to speculations.
Before Barca swooped in at the eleventh hour and hijacked the transfer, the 23year old Kounde appeared to be on his way to Chelsea in a £55 million deal.
The temporary availability of a shirt bearing Kounde’s name for purchase on Barcelona’s website has reportedly ended Chelsea’s chances of signing him.
According to reliable sources, the LaLiga club is nearing completion of the center-back transfer. Reports claim that this morning’s positive discussions resulted in complete agreement on all personal terms.
Just a few minor details regarding the fee need to be worked out between Barcelona and Sevilla, and the switch should be finished shortly.
The Blues are now focusing on other center-backs, like Presnel Kimpembe of Paris Saint-Germain. It is said they are also interested in Josko Gvardiol of RB Leipzig.
