Jude Victor William Bellingham, an English professional footballer who competes for the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund as well as the England national team, was born on June 29, 2003.
Bellingham became the club’s youngest-ever first-team player in August 2019 at the age of 16 years, 38 days, when he made his senior debut. Bellingham played often in the 2019–20 season after joining Birmingham City as an under-8 player. After joining Borussia Dortmund in July 2020, he scored the team’s youngest goal in his first competitive match, breaking the previous record.
He represented England at the under-15, under-16, under-17, and under-21 levels. He earned his senior squad debut in November 2020 and will represent his country at UEFA Euro 2020.
Before beginning his under-8 career with Birmingham City, Bellingham played for Stourbridge. He joined their under-18 team at the age of 14, and at the age of 15, he played his first game for the under-23 team against Nottingham Forest’s U23s.
After an hour had elapsed, he entered the game, and in the 87th minute, “sliding in to drive the ball across the goal line after pressure by Kyle McFarlane on the keeper diverted the ball into his path,” he scored the game’s solitary goal.
By March 2019, he was listed among the “50 most intriguing teenagers in English football” by FourFourTwo. He had three goals in ten games for the development squad and was rumored to be of interest to prominent European clubs.
