Former President John Dramani Mahama’s Special Aide, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has shown her commitment to education by donating a 55-inch TCL Smart TV to Akuse RC Basic School in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency.
The donation, which took place on Friday, May 24, was aimed at enhancing teaching and providing entertainment for the students.
Representatives Edem Agbana and Clement Amegatse presented the TV set to the school’s headmaster, teachers, and the Assembly Member of the electoral area. The event was attended by some NDC constituency executives from the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, showing solidarity and support for Mogtari’s efforts.
The students at Akuse RC Basic School expressed joy and gratitude for the generous donation, wishing Mogtari success in her future endeavors. NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Ketu North Constituency, Mr. Edem Agbana, commended Mogtari for her dedication to education and emphasized the TV’s role in enhancing learning and offering recreational opportunities.
The School Management Committee (SMC) chairman shared his excitement about utilizing the TV for educational programs and multimedia lessons, while the students looked forward to more engaging classroom activities and enjoyable shows during their free time. This donation comes after a previous contribution of desks to the school, further improving the learning environment for the students.
