Joy Sunday was born in New York on April 17, 1995. She is an African-American actress best known for her work in the films Take my Heart, The Beta Test, Dear White People, and others.
In 2015, Lee David Zlotoff and Peter M. Lendov’s television series MacGyver featured Joy in her very first acting role. Later, in 2018, she appeared as Ria in five episodes of the comedy-drama TV show Yas Kween, working with renowned actors like David Mandell, Jason DePuy, and Danny Abrahms. Joy attended Fiorello H. LAGuardia High School before graduating from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a degree in Critical Studies.
