Before celebrating her 80th birthday in October, Joy Behar’s agent has dispelled reports that the celebrity is about to leave “The View.”
According to the Independent Journal Review, Behar’s three-year contract with ABC is set to expire this summer, and the seasoned panelist may be getting ready to announce her retirement “any day now.”

Her agent called the Tuesday report that Behar had agreed to a new three-year contract with ABC “fake news.”
She will remain a network employee through 2025 thanks to the new contract.
Although it’s unclear how much money ABC spent on Behar, it’s certain that the contentious comedian received a nice eight-figure salary from the network.
Behar reportedly received $7 million annually as part of her previous three-year contract with the network.
Behar is the only original panelist at “The View” still active.
