American actor and former model Joshua Duhamel was born on November 14, 1972. After doing some modeling, he made his acting debut as Leo du Pres on the ABC daytime drama All My Children. He later played Danny McCoy on the NBC drama Las Vegas. In four of the Transformers movies, including the most current one, Transformers: The Last Knight, Duhamel made his film debut as one of the primary characters (2017). Additionally, he appeared in the films You’re Not You, Safe Haven, New Year’s Eve, Life as We Know It, When in Rome, and Life as We Know It (2014).

In North Dakota’s Minot, Duhamel was born. His father, Larry Duhamel, is an advertising salesman, and his mother, Bonnie L. (Bachmeier) Kemper, is a retired educator and local businesswoman. His ancestors are French-Canadian, Irish, English, German, Austrian, and Norwegian. The Duhamels are devout Catholics.
In his early years, his parents separated. He grew up with his mother and his three younger sisters, Ashlee, Kassidy, and Mckenzee Duhamel, yet he continues to be close to both of them. Duhamel attended Minot State University and played as the backup quarterback for the school’s football team after graduating from Minot High School in 1991. He left school with one and a half credits remaining on his undergraduate degree but had intended to enroll in dental school. Later, he finished his credits, and in 2005, he was awarded his degree.
