Josey Jewell, an American football linebacker with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, was born on December 25, 1994.
Jewell played linebacker and running back in high school football while attending Decorah High School in Decorah, Iowa. With a 49-21 victory over Sioux City Bishop Heelan in the 2012 contest, Jewell assisted his squad in making appearances in back-to-back 3A State Title Games.
Jewell participated in 11 games and earned four starts in 2014 after redshirting his freshman year at Iowa in 2013. He had 51 tackles and one sack by the season’s end. He made all 14 starts as a sophomore in 2015, leading the team with 126 tackles, three sacks, and four interceptions.
