The 33-year-old American athlete has caused quite a stir after he finished second in the shot put final at the World Athletics Championships on Sunday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Kovacs, a two-time world champion and Penn State graduate, won silver at the World Track & Field Championships after another epic duel with Crouser, the two-time defending Olympic gold medalist.
