Joseph Gatt, an English actor who became famous for his role in HBO’s 2014 season of Game of Thrones, has been arrested for allegedly sexting a minor.
The 47-year-old actor, on April 6, was taken into custody by the Police Department of Los Angeles that claimed he was allegedly engaging in “online sexually explicit communication” with an underage.
However, the “Thor” actor was released after posting a $5,000 bail on the same day of his arrest. The LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has begun investigating the case.
The “Star Trek into Darkness” star took to his official Twitter page to deny the claims and describe the allegations as “absolutely horrifying and completely untrue”
