Actor and stage performer Josefin Asplund is best known for her roles as Pernilla in the film adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Astrid in the television series Vikings. Asplund is of Swedish descent. She has also appeared in a large number of other television episodes and films, some of which are as follows: Snoanglar, Call Girl, The Circle, Stodgruppen, Top Dog, Piska en matta, Conspiracy of Silence (“Ingen utan skuld”), and Arne Dahl: Efterskalv.
