Jonathan Owens is a professional safety in American football who plays for the Houston Texans in the National Football League, was born on July 22, 1995, in Missouri’s St. Louis and is currently 27 years old. In college, he played football for Missouri Western.
After attending Loyola Academy of St. Louis for middle school, Owens played high school football at Christian Brothers College (CBC) for Coach Scott Pingel. Owens won CBC Linebacker of the Year during his time in high school.
The Houston Texans practice squad signed Owens on September 30, 2019. On November 21, 2019, he received a promotion to the active roster before being released two days later and re-signing with the practice squad. On January 13, 2020, he committed to the Texans by signing a reserve/future contract.
