American singer, songwriter, and actress JoJo, real name Joanna Noëlle Levesque, and actor Dexter Darden are formally engaged and looking forward to soon tying the knot.
Both Hollywood stars took to their Instagram pages to announce their engagement in separate posts on Christmas Day (December 25, 2021).
JoJo confirmed that she said yes when Dexter popped the question.
“Forever with YOU? Sign me UP,” JoJo captioned a photo gallery containing photos they took after she took the ring.
“Celebrating Christmas a whole fiancé!!! the most thoughtful, creative, positive, handsome, strong, loving, uplifting human being asked me to marry him. so obviously I said YESSS!!! thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever. and for flying out my mom, your mom, and both of our best friends to share in that incredible moment with us. you are one of one,” she added.

Dexter Darden commented on JoJo’s post, saying: “Yuppppp… thank you for being my forever.”
Their engagement announcement threw fellow stars and fans on social media into a frenzy.
