English football player John Richard Rooney, who was born on December 17, 1990, plays as an attacking midfielder for Oldham Athletic.
He is the younger brother of Wayne Rooney, manager of D.C. United and a former England forward. Rooney, who was born in England, has stated that he wants to play for the Republic of Ireland internationally.
