The rebellious nature and acerbic wit of Lennon’s music, writing and drawings, on film, and in interviews defined his work. The songwriting partnership between John Lennon and Paul McCartney is still the most successful in history.

Cynthia Lennon was John Lennon’s first wife and Julian Lennon’s mother. Cynthia and John Lennon married on August 23, 1962, at Liverpool’s Mount Pleasant register office. John Lennon has 2 children named Julia and Sean.
John Lennon parents and siblings
Lennon’s parents are Alfred and Julia Stanley. John’s half-sisters were Victoria/Ingrid, Julia, and Jacqui (as well as two half brothers but more about that in a second).
Only Julia and Jacqui were known to John. Victoria was born when John was five years old and was given up for adoption because she was conceived by another man while Julia was still married to John’s father.
