Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, the late Deputy Finance Minister Dr. John Kumah’s widow, has stated that Prophet Nigel Gaisie, who was stationed in Accra, prophesied her husband’s death. However, she believes Gaisie’s prognosis was based on his own intuition rather than a divine message.

She claims that at his church session on December 31, 2023 was used to craft the prophesy concerning her husband’s passing.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the General Overseer of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, chose to utilize Apostle Kumah’s illness as an opportunity to prophesy since she knew her husband, Dr. Kumah, wasn’t feeling well.

In a taped interview that aired on Monday, March 11, 2024, on Asaase Radio in Accra, Apostle she stated that because Prophet Nigel Gaisie was closest to the family, he chose to use their private information in a prophesy that was meant to go viral for his own benefit.

“Nigel Gaisie acted as a sibling.” He had a one-on-one intimate familiarity with my late spouse, attorney John Kumah. This is the house where we have had meals together on several occasions. We go just as far as that. I conducted a program called “Let the Prophet Speak” with him when he visited my church, Disciples of Christ Ministries, after he traveled from overseas to establish a church in Ghana.

“We are well acquainted with the late John Kumah, and we have known about his critical illness from November 2023. When my husband and I believed Nigel Gaisie to be a true man of God, my husband had a great deal of regard for men of God in this nation.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, however, was rebuked by Apostle Kumah to focus more on growing as a man of God than making false prophesies.

Following a brief illness, the 45-year-old Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region passed unexpectedly.

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, he passed away.
