John Connor was an Irish Fine Gael politician. He was elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1981 general election as a Fine Gael Teachta Dála for the Roscommon constituency. Connor lost his seat at the February 1982 general election and was not elected at the November 1982 general election.

In 1999, he was elected to Roscommon County Council and was re-elected at the 2004 local elections. He did not contest the 2009 local elections.
