John Carney, full name, John Charles Carney Jr. is an American politician who is currently serving as the 74th governor of Delaware. He has been the governor of Delaware since 2017.
He is a member of the Democratic Party. He served as the U.S. representative for Delaware’s at-large congressional district from 2011 to 2017 and as the 24th lieutenant governor of Delaware from 2001 to 2009.
