Joel David Moore is a character actor and filmmaker from the United States who was born on September 25, 1977. Moore, who was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, studied acting in college before traveling to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film.
He moved to Los Angeles, California, in the year 2000, and there he participated in a number of television commercials for eBay, Cingular Wireless, and Best Buy. A Lion Award-winning campaign for the Siemens cell phone brand XELIBRI was directed by Moore. Moore made an appearance in the P.O.D rap rock group’s music video for the song “Youth of the Nation.”
