The current member of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is American professional bare-knuckle fighter and former mixed martial artist Joseph Jonathan Riggs (born September 23, 1982).
Since becoming a pro in 2001, Riggs has fought professionally for the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, Bellator, ProElite, M-1 Global, and King of the Cage. The previous WEC Middleweight Champion is Riggs.

Riggs began boxing with his father when he was a little boy. He was born in Sanford, Maine, and was reared in Phoenix, Arizona. Despite the fact that Riggs is right-handed, his boxing instructor taught him to fight southpaw, making his dominant hand his left. Wrestling for Riggs started in Glendale, Arizona’s Cactus High School.
In Glendale Community College (Arizona), where he studied for a degree in Criminal Justice, he emulated his hero Randy Couture by winning two All-American awards. MMA Lab’s John Crouch, TNT Training Center’s Scott Tannenbaum, and Arizona Combat Sports’ Lally brothers have all trained Riggs.
