Joseph Tyler Mixon is a running back in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals. Mixon attended Oklahoma and was named first-team All-Big 12 before being drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Mixon was named to the Pro Bowl in 2021 as a member of the team that won Super Bowl LVI.

Mixon attended and played college football for the University of Oklahoma from 2014 to 2016. Mixon was suspended from the Oklahoma football team for the 2014 season following a misdemeanor assault charge in October 2014.
Mixon earned playing time as a redshirt freshman in 2015, appearing in all 12 games and making three starts. Mixon had a 76-yard touchdown reception in his first career game, the longest catch by a Sooner freshman running back. Mixon also gained 27 yards on five carries against Akron. Mixon had 154 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns against Texas Tech on October 24.
