Tributes flood social media following the death of a renowned Dutch Physicist. Interestingly, Joan van der Waals is said to have passed on at the age of 102.
For over two decades he was a professor of experimental physics at Leiden University. He was also a known expert in molecular physics and clathrate hydrates.
